Read the old label
Voltage, amp-hours (Ah) and terminal type are printed on most batteries. Match all three for a drop-in replacement.
Check the case size
Measure length, width and height in inches and compare them with the space you have. The dimension lookup on this page shows the closest fits.
Keep it charged
Charge a new sealed lead-acid battery before installing it, and recharge stored batteries every 3–6 months.
How do I find the right battery?
Match the voltage, amp-hours and terminal printed on the old battery, and check the case size. Or use the battery finder, or call 973-500-6828.
Can I use a higher-Ah battery?
Usually, if the voltage and terminal match and the battery fits. More amp-hours means longer runtime between charges.
How should I store a spare battery?
Store sealed lead-acid batteries fully charged in a cool, dry place and recharge them every 3–6 months.
