Can I swap my AGM for this without other changes?
In most 12V systems, yes — as long as it fits the space (4.49 × 2.76 × 4.16 in). The one change is charging: set your charger, converter or solar controller to its LiFePO4 (lithium) profile, because AGM settings will not fully charge it.
Do I need a lithium charger?
Use a charger or controller with a LiFePO4 or lithium setting. Many modern chargers, converters and solar controllers have one. A lead-acid charger with a desulfation or equalize mode should not be used.
Can I connect batteries in series or parallel?
Use identical batteries of the same age and charge level, and check the series and parallel limits for this model with our team before you build a bank. Call 973-500-6828.
Can it be charged below freezing?
LiFePO4 batteries should not be charged below 32°F (0°C) unless they have low-temperature charge protection. Discharging in the cold is fine. Ask us about cold-weather setups for this model.
